Betty Welsh Benton is with Larry Benton

Wednesday, August 3rd, 

"Today was Larry's homegoing day. I am sitting here in his room with him for the last time on this earth. He gave covid a hard fight but his lungs and heart failed this morning.

"He has gone to be with God, not because he was a sinless man but because he was a forgiven one, through the blood of Jesus Christ. He knows the joy of seeing his Savior and the face of God.

"Thank you all for your prayers, your encouraging comments and your "likes" to let me know your thoughts and prayers were with us. God is still at work today, as He has taken Larry home and is giving me strength and His peace as I take care of the many details that must be dealt with."
